FREE iApps Radio Streaming App for Your Station - AND Create a Revenue

Take your station global and mobile with Radio App.

In light of the increasing demand for the Radio App, iApps is pleased to announce the live streaming radio app is now being made FREE to stations.

Software Development company iApps have created an innovative application (App) for iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch, which turns the device into Internet radio receivers. No matter where you go in this fly in, fly out world, provided you can get 3G or WiFi connectivity, you can take your favourite radio station with you.

There is a small monthly charge for a 12 month period for the associated streaming graphic advertising. This graphic advertising space is on-sold to advertising clients and therefore a revenue stream is created for the station.

In addition to this potential revenue stream from advertisers, you can also provide your listeners (at least those with iPhones) the ability to direct dial to your station or straight through to your advertisers from within the App. As an example calls could be directed to your station’s competition line or request line, or direct to advertisers phone number or email address.

At the National Radio Conference, Belinda Rowe, Managing Partner of Zenith Optimedia said, ** “radio audiences are actually increasing; the medium needs to captilise on its immediacy, convenience, interactivity (online), mobility and its ability to connect with communities.”

The App has the ability to run in the background while the user is engaging other Apps, so the station can benefit from constant streaming and complete user responsiveness.

Stations can “skin” the app to suit their branding strategy.
